No Strings Attached

Track One: Bye Bye Bye::

Wonderfull song. A little off-the-wall beat, but a good song. I love the choreography on this, too. Especially the fact that they all grab themselves at some point... >=)~

Track Two: It's Gonna Be Me::

Hehehe... Justin sounds awfully funny everytime he says that. Plus this track's kind of addictive. You listen to it once and you gotta listen to it again. The only thing I don't like with it is that it just sways too far away from their original sound, which I really liked. Same goes for Bye Bye Bye. Guys, please. If you're gonna do a song, evolve, don't mutate.

Track Three: Space Cowboy::

Ummm... No. Who else is wondering what JC was doing while he wrote this? Anyone wanna take a guess? It starts with a 'c'...

Track Four: Just Got Paid::

Now this I like. It's funny, got a good beat, and seriously, Justin sounds super funny when he goes, "Check the mirror, lookin' fly..." And I love the rap-thing. It's cool. I half expected Joey to come out in his 'Celebration' suit and do a little dance just for the heck of it.

However, who ever heard of a song about money and getting paid that acctually went over well?

Track Five: Makes Me Ill::

Dang, they are fast-singers, ain't they? Good song, great beat, but nothing special. This is probably not gonna be one of the ones I'll remember when I'm fifty. Unless, of course, we remember dance moves... *drool*

Track Six: This I Promise You::

Every album has to have it's cool-slow-song-that-everybody-loves. NSA is no different. I would have thought that this would be the song where Joey/Chris/Lance would get a solo in, but my hopes kind of died when I listened all the way through. Good song, beautiful voices, guys, but I was expecting more.

Track Seven: No Strings Attached::

Oh, gee, look! It's the album title, too! *gasp* (Rolls eyes)

The constant 'explosions' on this hurts your ears. Especially those of us who use the little biddy mico-earphones that fit into your ear. It will kill you. It's a nice song for a fast-pacer, but gawd... (Holds hurt ears)

Track Eight: Digital Getdown::

YEAH! I absolutely *love* this song! Who the Hell cares if it's about cyber-sex? It's cooool! I like the way they were able to put special-effects in without making it sound crappy or anything. And I really think the, "Baby, baby, we can do all that we want, we get, uh, nasty, nasty, we get, uh, freaky-deaky, uh, uh," was the best part.

Track Nine: Bringin Da' Noise::

What. The. Hell. Alright, who let JC into my catnip stash?!

Track Ten: That's When I'll Stop Loving You::

Nothing to get overly excited about. A nice bit of musical work, but there has been better. Hell, 'Best Of My Life' is better than this.

Track Eleven: I'll Be Good For You::

Shut up, Justin. Just please, shut up.

Track Twelve: I Thought She Knew::

Favorite on the album, right here. Not only is it a beautiful song, but it gets Chris and Joey some solo-time. It proves freaks and geeks can sing! j/k

But really, it is the best song they have on this album. I love it. It proves that they are great acapella artists, and they can sound good without backup music. A feat few groups, boyband or otherwise, can acomplish. I just wish Lance was able to sing in this, but, being bass, it was kind of impossible.

Bonus (Australia): Could It Be You::

Ahhhhh...! Please! Shut up! My ears...! Bleeding...! Must... get... away... *Dies*

Bonus (England and Europe): If I'm Not The One::

Damn addictive songs... What can I say? I- *gasp* -like this song!

But seriously folks, why was this cut from the American version? I like it. Note to N SYNC: You're idiots. Keep the tracks you plan on putting on. DO NOT cut a song like this again, or I'll send Mousie after you. =)

Overall Thinking:

Wow. I was acctually suprised by this album. Not that it beats out their American debut album, but it's still pretty good. I mean, it set a record. That's pretty damn good for five Florida-hicks, huh?

Overall: Justin::

The boy is a good singer. Keep to singing. If you ever, and I mean EVER, try to write a song again, you will find your curls in a trash can somewhere. Keep in mind, you are white. That song would be good for Boyz2Men, but NSYNC? Um, no.

Overall: JC::

His voice is getting higher. I don't know, but it just seems like he went up an octave or two. Other than that, it's grooby.

Overall: Joey::

Woah. So Phat-One can sing. *applauds* I wonder why he never gets any solos? He's got a great voice. Oh well, next time, eh?

Overall: Chris::

Same goes for Chris. Damn, we know he can sing. The Jackson 5 thing, IDMC, The Lion Sleeps Tonight... Geeze, just let him sing! So So what if he sounds a little too high for his age? His voice just needs to change. >=)

Overall: Lance::

PooFoo, PooFoo, WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!

“Lance gets NONE!”
